CHARACTERISTICS
- Working Temperatures
- The fittings are not designed for use on hot water pipes, they withstand the same temperatures as PE pipe.
- The accessories withstand temperatures below 0ºC.
- Chemical Resistance
- PLASSON Series 1 fittings come standard with polyacetal separation and grip rings and washers and NBR elastomeric seals that are suitable for drinking water.
- Operating Pressures and Quality Certificates
- The entire range of PLASSON Series 1 fittings has been tested and approved under the requirements of ISO17885 (replaces ISO14236) for PN 16 bar, as well as AS/NZS4129, UNI9561, NEN3258, AS1722, DIN8076.
- The tensile strength of the PVC and universal fittings has been tested by pressure testing on UPVC/PP pipes with an operating pressure of 25 bar for at least 1 hour.
- Threads: All threads comply with ISO – 7/1, DIN 2999.
