Description
PGA model solenoid valve
The Rain Bird solenoid valve is built with the PGA valve body and maintains a strong, trouble-free seal between the valve body and cover, regardless of the conditions. PGA valves have been exposed to extreme temperature changes and intense pressures. The result—zero leaks. The PGA valve body and cover gasket are built to withstand the intense water pressure typical of many commercial locations. Subjected to triple-digit surge pressures, our valves outperformed our nearest competitor by more than 2 ½ to 1.
Ease of maintenance and installation.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Prevents loss of parts during maintenance thanks to the encapsulated solenoid with captive plunger.
- Non-pop-up flow adjustment handle to regulate the desired flow rate.
- Internal purge by turning the solenoid ¼ turn, which allows manual openings without wetting the manhole. Allows adjustment of the pressure regulator without turning on the valve on the programmer.
- Solenoid with lever.
- A PRS-Dial pressure regulator module adjustable from 1.0 to 6.9 bar can be installed (must be ordered separately)
- 24v pulse solenoid installed.
- Slow closing valve that prevents water hammer and therefore damage to the system.
- Double filtration design to prevent clogging of solenoid ports.
VERSATILITY
- A PRS-DIAL pressure regulator module adjustable from 1.0 to 6.9 bar can be installed (must be ordered separately).
- Slow closing valve that prevents water hammer and therefore damage to the system.
- Double filtration design to prevent clogging of solenoid ports.
SPECS
