Description
Polyamide and fiberglass suction cup.
The ARV-A automatic double-acting air valve is designed to effectively expel air accumulated in pipes, filters, tanks and any place where the presence of air is detrimental to proper operation. Air valves are located at the outlet of pipes whose slope varies in relation to the hydraulic gradient, at points where the pipe rises above ground level, in large branches with a uniform slope, at the inlet of measuring instruments, at the outlet of reducing valves, in diameter reductions, pumps, filtering systems and on each side of crossings under roads. For proper operation of the valve, it must always be placed in a vertical position. It is recommended to install a manual isolation valve under the air valve, in order to allow maintenance and repair operations without having to shut down the entire system.
ADVANTAGES: It has a single closure that expels kinetic and residual air, all automatically and without water pressure being able to impede these functions. Simple design, with only five parts, it is easy to disassemble in case of having to carry out maintenance or cleaning work. The exclusive design of the Y-shaped hole achieves a much higher air flow than other valves of this type, both in the expulsion and admission phases. Its perfect fit makes it hermetic at very low pressures. Red body for easy viewing.
