Description
Cohisa Galvanized Steel batteries are manufactured with carbon steel tubes, according to EN 10217-1 regulations, with carbon steel plates and a PN16 battery supply flange specified in the UNE-EN 1092-2 standard, they are manufactured according to the UNE 19900-1 standard "being elements composed of horizontal and vertical tubes that form a closed and homogeneous circuit that feeds divisional meters, being support for said meters and their valves", once the welds are finished, both the exterior and the interior of this type of batteries are subjected to a hot-dip galvanization treatment according to the UNE ISO 1461 standard. It is a battery that presents thermal and dimensional stability, and is resistant to shocks or deformation.
They are a product of maximum guarantee with numerous quality controls for the correct centralization of water meters, rigorously complying with the UNE EN-ISO-1461, UNE 19804:2002 and UNE–19900/2005 standards, in addition to the ISO 9001:2015 quality certification of our company Complementos Hidráulicos SA
Without considering the use of plastic materials, Galvanized Steel batteries present a series of differentiating characteristics:
– Dimensional stability in case of fire, guaranteeing the supply of water to homes.
– Extreme ambient temperatures do not affect its mechanical strength (changing and reading meters) or its resistance to tensile stresses to which it may be subjected (water hammer). It is not affected by deformations resulting from the weight of the valve, meter and hose assembly.
– Hot-dip galvanised battery with an average weight coating of 505 g/m2 for pipes intended for the conduction of drinking water, according to UNE-EN ISO 1461. This protection covers both the exterior and interior surfaces.
– Each battery is provided with supports and identification plate, which shows the manufacturer's brand and the identification code. It is supplied with a counter flange for connecting to the supply tube, a gasket, screws and supports for anchoring to the wall.
