DESCRIPTION
The WESTERFIX tube is a light, rigid metal tube, constructed with external helical seaming.
The WESTERFIX pipe has a maximum section for a minimum perimeter, so compared to a rectangular duct, its weight is lower, a very important factor in any type of installation.
The Technical Building Code (CTE) In its basic document HS3 it considers sheet metal ducts manufactured in accordance with the conditions of the standard UNE 100.102:1988 as acceptable for use in ventilation systems. Our ducts also comply with the standard UNE-EN 1506:2007. -
APPLICATIONS
• Controlled mechanical ventilation in homes:
– extraction in bathrooms, toilets, storage rooms, kitchen hoods.
– air supply to bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms.
• Air conditioning.
• Ventilation of parking lots and garages.
• Ventilation of industrial buildings.
• Industrial aspirations. -
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
• The WESTERFIX tube can be manufactured REINFORCED, with an intermediate bead between the seams. This type of manufacturing allows the thickness of the duct to be reduced and allows for continued work with high flow rates or pressures.
• Manufactured with Z-275 coated galvanized steel or AISI 304 quality stainless steel.
• The thickness of the steel (0.5 – 1.0 mm) depends on the dimensions of the tubes to provide them with sufficient rigidity and resistance to deformation.
• WESTERFIX INOX is advisable in those cases where greater resistance to corrosion is required (humid industrial environments, marine environments, etc.) or at higher temperatures.
