Description
Stainless Steel Batteries
Stainless Steel batteries are a product with maximum guarantee for the centralization of water meters for human consumption. Manufactured from an AISI316L stainless steel tube, in 10204:2004, stamped steel plates of the same quality according to UNE-19804 and with a PN16 connection flange specified by the UNE-EN-1902-2 standard.
The nozzles are welded to the frame using the MIG system. Once the assembly is finished and tested at the pressure indicated by the standard, it is pickled and passivated, and once finished, a tightness test is performed.
The Cohisa manufacturing process results in:
– A light and manageable battery
– Thermally stable, does not deform due to weight or the valve assembly, meter and hose, and is free of chemical and electrolytic corrosion.
– Dimensional stability in case of fire, guaranteeing the supply of water to homes.
– Extreme ambient temperatures do not affect its mechanical strength (changing and reading meters) or its resistance to tensile stresses to which it may be subjected (water hammer). It is not affected by deformations resulting from the weight of the valve, meter and hose assembly.
– Each battery is provided with fastening hooks and an identification plate, which includes the manufacturer's brand and identification code. It is supplied with a counter-flange for connecting to the supply tube, a gasket, screws and wall anchoring supports.
