Description
BIO HT, Imhoff biological
PRIMARY TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR DOMESTIC WASTEWATER.
In a decanting system, two compartments are clearly distinguished:
-Sedimentation zone.
-Digestion zone.
The sedimented suspended solids are retained in the sedimentation compartment and are decanted to the digestion zone at the bottom of the pit. The special geometry of the sedimentation zone facilitates rapid decanting. At the bottom, the organic matter in an anaerobic environment is digested in the process called methane fermentation, stabilising the primary sludge.
The Bio Family Imhoff is an ideal product for small and medium-sized communities
where high purification performances are not required. It stands out for:
• Simple treatment = low investment
• Low sludge production
• No electricity consumption
• PE tanks with reinforced structure for easy registration
• Install a grease separator for kitchen grey water
Purification performances:
• SS: >90%;
• BOD5: ~40%;
• MO: ~50%
