What is the Ecoflo biofilter?
The Ecoflo biofilter is the most efficient solution. eco-responsible for wastewater treatment, because it has the lowest carbon footprint on the market.
Its innovative patented technology consists of a natural biofilter based on coconut shell fragments specifically sized to maximize system performance. This technology is easily scalable, and can be applied both to single-family homes and to treat wastewater from small towns of up to 200 population equivalents (PE).
The fundamental principle of the Ecoflo biofilter is that no power supply needed since it does not need electromechanical components to carry out the purification. The effluent infiltrates by gravity through the natural filter medium, significantly reducing the annual purification costs and the associated noise. This gives it a purification without worries about the electrical supply, and therefore a fcontinuous and autonomous operation.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
- Suitable for natural settings and areas where there are rivers, channels, streams, etc. nearby, even for direct discharge with a prior project submitted to the relevant authorities, since this type of septic tank complies with the most comprehensive Discharge Law regulations (12566 III).
- They must be installed in areas where there is no basic sanitation system.
- Reusable water only suitable for drip or foot watering. (Not drinkable).
- 97-100% leak.
- Optional: a sampling box can be placed at the outlet.
- Ideal for installation in areas that are difficult to excavate or have high water tables.
MAINTENANCE:
Low sludge production (pit cleaning in 3 to 4 years, and 10 years for the filter through use). It is advisable to rake the coconut shell filter panel every year to prevent crusting.
