Description and characteristics of septic tank models:
Septic tanks are domestic wastewater treatment equipment that, by combining a settling process and anaerobic digestion, achieve a significant reduction in the pollutant load.
Made of high-density polyethylene, they are resistant to long-term chemical aggression. They have smooth interior walls, making cleaning easier and preventing the aggregation and accumulation of waste. The reduced weight of the equipment facilitates transport and handling.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
- NOT suitable for natural areas and zones where there are rivers, channels, streams, etc. nearby, since this type of septic tank complies with the regulations of the Basic Discharge Law (12566 I).
- They must be installed in areas where there is no basic sanitation system.
- Non-reusable water.
- 55%-60% leak.
- Place an aeration outlet at the entrance and exit of the pit to release odors.
- Optional: a sampling box can be placed at the outlet.
- Ideal for installation in areas that are difficult to excavate or have high water tables.
- Its application is recommended in:
– Houses, urbanizations, small plots, etc. - The quality of the treated effluent requires the evacuation of the treated water to drain it into the ground through a drainage pipe.
MAINTENANCE:
Approximately every year and a half it must be emptied by a tanker truck. (Depending on use)
